Bob Steinberg is the co-founder and managing partner of First Development Corporation. He is the Broker of Record and assures that each member of the FDC team displays the professionalism and commitment to client and customers that have kept FDC successful for over Forty years.

In addition to supervising the daily operations of First Development Corporation, he is the primary contact for property management and business operations. Alison Brennan Chief Executive Officer

Alison Brennan, Chief Executive Officer of Einbinder Development is the third generation to join the real estate business founded in 1965 by Joseph Einbinder. Since joining Einbinder Development, she has been focusing her work on leasing, management, financing, and real estate development in affiliation with First Development Corporation of Hauppauge NY. Together, the companies own and manage over forty properties consisting of retail, office, flex space, and apartments. The properties span across Long Island, Queens, Philadelphia, and Massachusetts. Her expertise also encompasses tenant relations, project management, construction, property maintenance and negotiating leases with major national and regional tenants.

Robert M. Brennan Director of Acquisitions

Robert Brennan serves as the Director of Acquisitions at First Development Corporation (FDC), specializing in development services across the East Coast of the United States.

In his role, Robert focuses on identifying and securing strategic property investments that align with FDC's mission to revitalize shopping centers and enhance community environments.

His responsibilities encompass overseeing the acquisition process, from initial market analysis to final transaction execution, ensuring each project contributes to the company's growth and success.

Bruce Pollack Senior Vice President

With 38 years of dedicated experience in commercial leasing and sales, Bruce serves as the Senior Vice President at First Development Corporation (FDC). As a seasoned professional in the real estate industry, Bruce has made significant contributions throughout his career, particularly in his role as the Director of Leasing for the prestigious LeFrak Organization, a prominent name in New York's real estate landscape.

Bruce's extensive background encompasses both landlord and tenant representation, where he has successfully negotiated leases for a diverse range of clients, including major national retail chains, local neighborhood businesses, and various government and not-for-profit agencies. His expertise spans a variety of sectors, facilitating leasing for both existing properties and ground-up developments. Notably, Bruce has been instrumental in securing spaces for retail, medical facilities, supermarkets, restaurants, charter schools, office spaces, and Universal Pre-K initiatives.

A significant focus of Bruce’s work has been his exclusive representation of the “Burger Brothers Group” in their ambitious expansion of well-known brands such as “Dave's Hot Chicken”, Qdoba Mexican Eats”, and “Burger King” across Long Island, Queens & Brooklyn. Among Bruce’s noteworthy accomplishments is his successful leasing of a prime property at 45-64 Francis Lewis Blvd., Bayside, NY where he secured critical tenants such as Mount Sinai Medical Center for their ambulatory surgical center, DaVita Dialysis, Dunkin Donuts, and NewBank. Additionally, at the adjacent property located at 46-40 Francis Lewis Blvd., he negotiated the lease for “H Mart Supermarket”, a major supermarket chain with 80+ locations, further solidifying his reputation in the retail leasing sector. Bruce further secured additional locations for H Mart including the one located at 142-41 Roosevelt Ave, Flushing, NY.

Bruce’s recent achievements also include leasing a substantial 40,000 square foot property to “99 Ranch Market”, a supermarket chain with over 70 locations. His strategic insights and market knowledge consistently provide clients with a competitive edge in a dynamic industry.

David Gelfond has been with First Development Corporation since 1991. He joined the company after successfully building and selling a chain of dry-cleaning stores to Colgate Palmolive. David’s main area of expertise is retail leasing, having represented tenants and landlords in hundreds of transactions in the NY—Metro and Philadelphia / South Jersey markets. He completed the rollout of Blockbuster Video and Commerce Bank (sold to TD Bank) with over 100 signed leases, as well as Charter Schools, Medical Facilities, and Self-Storage developments. His exceptional skills in marketing properties and expanding retail chains have made him one of the most diverse retail brokers in the New York Metro area.

Stu Kramer Senior Vice President

Stu Kramer is the exclusive broker for Ace Hardware and Cards For Less in the Tri-State area. He brings over 20 years of wholesale and retail experience to First Development Corporation. Most notably, Stu is known for taking Costello’s Ace Hardware from a four-store small local chain to a regional powerhouse with forty-eight stores in the Mid-Atlantic and Tri-State regions.
